Midlands Meet 21st or 22nd May

Following on from the thread here, and to try and nail down a date.

Route is open to ideas.

Budgie suggested the peak district, Matlock, Buxton,Ashbourne areas? Starting off from the ok diner on the a38 (as there's alot of parking) for coffee or brekkie in the morning then off.

Once we have a date sorted, mayeb someone who lives nearer the area could knock a rough route together?

I've voted either, but with a preference for Sunday. But I'll go with the majority.

I can only make the 21st - wife's birthday on 22nd and before anyone says bring her along, she doesn't like cars and wouldn't be happy spending most of her birthday sitting in one and it would cost me far too much to go on my own!!!

Peak District sounds great for a route.

1st choice for me is 29th, then 21st.

Peaks is a good idea, some great roads in Buxton. There was a z4 meet in the peaks last yr, or the year before..
