This is an awesome turnout

I'm not in the least bit excited by the prospect of seeing and meeting so many people I know, many only as keyboard warriors, and a lot af great Zeds all in one location :)

Is someone bringing a decent camera to take some shots, as I can only do point and shoot stuff and it would be nice to get some good ones and something capable of grabbing many cars in one shot?

Lucy - I need a photo of you in or on my Zed :)

I agree. Awesome turnout. I'm looking forward to putting some faces to names

I will be bringing my camera but i'm not very good with it

If you really want a picture of me then you can  But i won't be coming dressed in something i would wear on a photoshoot i will be casual and boring :poke: :P

Lucy, I really dont think it will matter how you come dressed  :trampoline:

Am very much looking forward to meeting everybody, and viewing the quality motors that will be on show :)

Well you will all get to know me quick enough :!:
Mrs mc.d has just broken her foot and chipped a bone so she will be the one with the leg in plaster & on the cruches.
But i'm..( sorry we) are still coming.
Ha Ha, my even need you guys to help lift her out, cause i'm sure i'll get her in

MD

If i can get up in time i'll try to make it over from leicester, no promises though as i'm out in london friday night and leicester saturday.

Looking good for the weekend.

Guess I'd better wash off the car on Saturday and run the PC quickly over it.
Trouble is I like driving it in this weather, not working on it and Mrs CJ has a to do list for me, so it will all be done quickly

I'm not going to be able to make this as I'll be out on a stag the night before - i.e. won't get in until it's time to leave anyway - and I've never been one for having more than one pint and driving. I've left it this late to cancel as we've not known what weekend the best man was available due to being a reserve army medic abroad (not Iraq).

Maybe if I'm sober by lunchtime I can still make another North Wales/Derbyshire/Yorkshire blast whilst everyone else is in the Midlands :P

Looking forward to this guys, not to the early start though

See you on Sunday.

The weather looks very promising

Ben, you organised this so I assume you are providing a mobile washer/polisher so those of us travelling from afar can have their cars looking clean beofre they go on show?? Tell him to be there for 8.00 :D

No problem, one is on his way from Latvia and the other arrives on Sunday from Croatia

going to get my car cleaned up today ready for the show- hope to get a few miles on the breaks as well as they were fitted yesterday and have little feel! everyone still on for the meet at meadowhall?

For Information:

:rtfm:

Just a quick note to say that tomorrows breakfast club meet is nearly upon us and we have a record number of clubs booked in so you can expect to see a huge variety of cars!

We would ask everyone to arrive between 08:30 and 09:00, but please bear with us as we try and park you all up together and try and keep some sort of resemblance on the precedings! The marshals are there to assist you in parking and are not there to take abuse! Please listen to where they direct you and drive accordingly! Anyone who is in breach of this may be asked to leave. Also, we respectfully ask that the playing of sound systems will not be tolerated. This is for the benefit of everyone.

The Breakfast Club meet is run entirely by volunteers and car enthusiasts and is a free event for everyone to enjoy!

By and large, this meet has proved to be one of the best in the Midlands where people can drive up, park up and enjoy a meet without politics and having to dig deep into your pocket to gain entry, with the added attraction of the RAF Museum.
We do respectfully ask all people who turn up to pay attention to the 15mph on site speed limit. It is there for a reason! There are many people walking around from children to pensioners so please take care whilst on site.
Speeding on site can jeopardize the event!

Due to my own personal commitment with other shows and events, this is the last meet until August 2nd.
Unfortunately, the only 2 dates I had free, Cosford have other events on both weekends.

Lastly, I hope you all have a safe drive tomorrow if you are coming and look forward to seeing plenty of you tomorrow.

All the best

Alistair Cox

Glad oyu posted that Ben - I was going too for information. Looks like this is the last one before August so glad you organised it.

Had time to clean the Zed today, so she's looking half decent and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and then a drive out.
