Looking good, Andrew's white Z4 looks awesome, asolutely awesome

Thanks! I was really pleased with all of the positive comments the car received on Sunday. And to think I was really nervous about buying a "white elephant" at the time. :D

bloody post! i managed to clip that on the way out, luckily all its done is crushed one of the number plate lights and put a slight mark on the bumper, will be off to the local body shop this saturday to get a quote for repair, may as well get a few scratches / stop chips done too i suppose - didnt actually break the paint, and the mark isnt too obvious so im hoping a smart repair will smooth it out, but sods law ill find the only post in a great big field eh!

ill get my pics up when i get a chance

Just want to echo what a great day. Thanks to everyone involved.

I loved seeing all the cars with their little difference and tweaks.

Loved lucys Coupe, if i ever get over my roadster fixation think the Z4 coupe in that colour combo would be my choice, also loved the colour of the Blue Alpina, but my favourite has to be the White roadster, never been sure about white cars but that Z4 was gorgeous.

The drive over to Clee Hill was great. Damn cold up there but stunning views.

Shame i could not stay for lunch, the pub looked fanastic.

Big thanks to Andy the sat nav got me home and is working well.

I can't help but think that my Coupe looks so out of place in the middle of all those Roadsters! I should have put it on the end then me and Breaker would have been like 2 bookends since we were the only 2 Coupe's there :P

Indeed, and it would be good to have the cheaper Coupes protect the more expensive Roadsters from side impact :P

I had 2 separate comments by people looking at the Z4's that the Coupe was the best looking Z4! :poke: :P

Must admit - they all looked great BUT i am out shopping for the coupe! Only question now is which colour?

Ok, I know that I'm a day late ... but it's taken me until now to get my photos uploaded ... don't you guys have jobs?! :D

Thanks again to Benn and Andrew for their organising and arranging the great roadster weather ... only 24 hrs later and it hasn't stopped raining.

It gave me an opportunity to play with my new DSLR ... here are the results ... most of them look pretty much like everyone elses! Enjoy: :)

On a day like Sunday when the sun is shining I can't understand anyone wanting to own a car that has a fixed roof!!

I've owned maybe 20 roadsters in my long life MGBs, Midgets,(could you call a car that these days?) Stag, X19s,Spitfires,MX5, MGFs, S2000, Z4s. I think it must be in the blood.

Strapped up in leather from head to foot and your head stuck in a goldfish bowl on a nice sunny day. Sounds more like something you should be doing in the bedroom! :poke:

You sound like Jeremy Clarkson! :P

2 things with bikes. Performance on anything over 600cc that even an M3 can only dream about and you don't get stuck behind Sunday drivers/caravans/posers in Z4 roadsters! :P :D :poke:

I'm glad that it was me in my Z4MC and the other person on the blue bike on the Snake Pass this last weekend, as the brakes on the Z4MC are quite good and saved that nutter from making a nice dent in my bonnet by cutting a corner, on a blind bend, with double-whites on it

Not picking on bikes, as I know a lot of bikers who are not like that, and know a lot of car drivers who are as dangerous. Personally I like the challenge of keeping to my side of the road, as I know I've got a (small) safety margin if anything should happen.

Although that didn't stop my near 160mph+ head on a week ago on the A5, when I was 'making progress' and saw a 4x4 starting an overtake on a lorry some 1000m in the distance, and hadn't made it past & back in by the time the distance was down to 50m, so I had to slam on down to 20mph to avoid him and the other twerp in the Calibra that was up his arse.
