Midlands based owners

I'm seriously considering buying a M but I need some practical assistance that I'm hoping one of you can help with.

The concern is that I'll buy an E85/6 and then find out it won't go on the drive.

The angle between my drive and the road means ground clearance is quite tight. My M2 barely clears it.

I'm in central Nottingham. If there's a M owner with a standard ride height car who fancies a trip out and who'd be kind enough to let me see how it looks getting on the drive it'd take the guess work out of it for me.

I'd be happy to cover your fuel, provide copious amounts of hipster coffee / builder's tea / strong continental lager and bacon butties etc.

There's room for quite a few cars on the street if you're all falling over yourselves to come to Nottingham and arrange a meet.

Thanks Stuart. I figure my best chance of it not fouling is to go for something that's not been lowered.

True. To be fair it's got a lot to do with wheelbase and overhangs rather than just the height.

Fancy it Stuart? If you come off the A46 in Newark and come through the villages there's some nice roads.
