Hi
I don't own a Z4 as yet but hope to soon, I live in Leicestershire and would like to go to the next midland meeting can anyone tell me if there is one and when & where it is?
Thanks Razor

Hiya, next Sunday there is an open day at Stratstone BMW Chesterfield, M1 J29 exit, then drive out into the peak district, meet @ 10.30 ish I think :driving:

I'm in Melton Mowbray, do any other members live close by as I would like to have a chat about the dos and dont's of buying a 3.0si coupe?
Thanks for the info on the open day at Stratstone BMW, not sure yet if I can make it.

If you get your z4 we will be having meetings at mine next year during the summer as part of our open days.

post them on the main forum E85 / E86 disscussion page. Bets if your new to introduce yourself otherwise you will only get asked to by alot of members.

hello and welcome

first question you need to ask is which Z4 you want, you have 3 choices, the roadster, the coupe or the new shape hard top convertible

your next question is probably what engine are you looking at, the coupe only comes in either 3.0ltr or the 3.2M, the other 2 have various engine options

good luck searching

Welcome along.

First point... You don't want a coupe :fuelfire:

But in all seriousness you cant go wrong with any Z

Taken you 10k posts, but that was a surprisingly balanced piece of advice Taz :P

...all of which I agree with. I'd also throw in auto or manual - BMW auto boxes are very, very good.

Then what options you want - xenons are not necessarily standard except on the ///M, and the 10 speaker premium sound system is loved by many on here. I have neither

AlanJ has a great buyer's guide in his sig that you should look at - just go into 'members' at the top of the page and order by number of posts - he's near the top

I'm in Markfield and would be more than happy to take you for a quick blast etc...! I have the 3.0si sport coupe, drop me a pm if you're up for a rag around!
