Cannot see bonnet shut lines, does it all need to come off to check oil etc?!

I think the bonnet an wings are 1piece

Not something I'd want to do to a Zed, but each their own. The blue one is seemingly available for £17,500
Hell - you could have a Z4m for that and still enough spare for a run around Z3

Agree with your M & Z3 comment, but each to their own expenditure

If I HAD to do something at ridiculous expense with a Z3, it would be a V8 conversion rather than a bodykit

Did you not see the one that was there? 6.2 litre Corvette LS3 V8 !!!!!
 
Looking at all these pictures makes me sad!! Very sorry i couldn't make it. Gutted as i was really looking forward to showing off my car.
