Mid-range tyre choices? Vred, Falken etc.

Vredestein ultrac sessantas. Been using them for years.

The vorti's are the newer version so are probably even better, although don't have the funky Tred pattern.

Avons are poo. Have them on the rear of mine and theh regularly break traction even under. Oderate acceleration. Only got them as a cheap fix to test whether they would fit without rubbing.

Eagle f1's are simply amazing. Got them on my standard front wheels and the turn in grip was astonishing.
 
Another vote here for the Goodyears. I've been running on them since dumping the run flats 4 years ago. Quiet, grippy and decent rim protection. Wear rate is a tad quicker than I'd hoped for but it could be my driving. :D
 
Well looking at Kamskill a set of 4 will cost £500. Not sure what to do as the fronts are just under 6mm but will I be missing out the improved roadholding by only having Goodyears on the rear?
