Mid Life Crisis

I've never understood why it's called a mid-life "crisis". it's only a crisis if you f*ck it up, like anything else.
It's more a mid-life growth period. Take it by the horns and have a ball. As long as nobody gets hurt in the process it can be one of the best times of your life.

Mid-life crisis ... pshaw! Wouldn't have missed it for the world!

I'm 33...this better not be midlife!

It's nothing to do with age, I was on the motorway today and was carved up by some t*t in reasonably new Vauxhall...would have been a Cavalier/Vectra/Whatever- point is pound for pound he could have bought my Zed rather than that piece of s**t! It's about choice...most people make the wrong ones!!!

Enjoy life while you can- preferably with the roof down :D ...and today especially don't worry- be happy!

My way of looking at it was either another woman and the complications that could come with, or a something that would satisfy me whenever I wanted (without complications).

 yes I like that, how very true :)

One can always tell if they are at the age to have a midlife crisis. All you have to do is to give a 20yr old girl a wink and a smile. If she smiles back, Your still young and handsome. If she smiles and says, Aw he's so cute I could just hug him. That means your a senior citizen. If she throws up, calls you a pervert, knees you in the stones, Then phones the police. Your middle aged.

Mid Life Crisis or not... if you can afford it, do it. I don't plan on leaving my kids monetary benefits for them to just piss away when I can enjoy. :|

well its good to see such positive people

i do agree life is to be enjoyed not endured

and not to be morbid but i did someone say once "raveyards are full of people who thought the world could not get on without them"

I just turned 54. And I'm still enjoying life. All be it. With a few creaks and recalcitrant joints, A little less hair, And a growing case of CRS. :oldman:

Just enjoy it who cares what people say. They are only jealous and wish they had a Z I get abuse at work all the time for mine and just laugh it off. Think my dad was in his 50's when he got his first sports car all my friends thought he was really cool for having one.

I thought the z was a complete waste of money.
The Mrs bought one anyway.

Converted. I want one of my own.
I regret not buying years ago.

My mid life crisis started in about 1989. One Fiat X19, MR2, XJS, MX5, Z3 and Z4 later it's still going strong :D

My Mid Life Crisis started in 1991 after my second divorce. I bought a 5.0 Mustang Vert and have owned sporty cars since.I don't have time to note all the great cars I've owned but the Z certainly rates #1!

Rather than call my Love of cars a MLC I refer to it as My Fetish.

If your in your late forties or fifties and above and own a z4, your a cliche. Sorry but its true.

Thats NOT to say thats a bad thing. Just a stereotype that people under a certain age WILL think of you. But thats their problem not yours and really it doesnt matter.

Ive asked other people what they think of the Z4 and a lot have said its either a MLC car or the kind of car jumped up young tw*ts drive that like wearing pink Ralph Lauren polo shirts with their 'collar popped'. Honestly i know what they mean, but again it DOESNT MATTER.

The older UK people here probably own a Z4 for the same reason younger owners like me do - it makes those dreary days just that little bit better and the rare times the suns shining it makes them really nice.
In our congested depressing road network ANYTHING to ease the monotiny of ANOTHER trip to tescos is worth its weight in gold.

It doesn't matter, you are 100% right - but if any one EVER slags off my popped collar I'll deck them :x
