I have had a sealey jump pack for many years that I've used in my garage for many uses , that has finally given up the ghost . I'm
Considering replacing it but with a smaller micro starter/ jump pack , these can easily fit in your glove box and offer charging ports for mobile phones and tablets etc and various other outlets so seem very versatile . But are they any good for starting a car ? And what should I look for ? Starting amps ,mAh's , peak power ? Any pointers would be good .

I would point out that I have a a starter charger pack now in the garage and a spare 12v new car battery so this micro pack is mainly for out on the road duty .

Thanks in advance

I have one, well actually two of the Snooper Ventura ones, not the cheapest at £99, but got 50% off in a flash sale with a code. Snooper Direct (not Snooper themselves) are doing them for £69 delivered at the mo.. http://shop.snooperdirect.com/product2670186catno260186.html

I've had, and binned the cheapo Ebay ones, and this will easily start my Volvo XC90 Diesel. My neighbour who has 40 minibuses also bought two, and can start his Iveco 2.5Di 16 seaters half a dozen times easily with one.

We both previously had the SnapOn Portable Power 1700 packs, which although fantastic are big and unwieldy.
