Micro filter / Air cleaner per service book

Hi

Ok I have a thick question - I got my z4 coupe at the start of the year and I’m trying to understand what the difference is between the micro filter and air filter items on the service booklet?

I’m going to replace the cabin air filter (underneath the glove box I believe) - is this what is referred to on the service booklet as the micro filter or is this something else?!

Yes the cabin filter is the micro filter.

Yeah, the micro filter is a different name for the cabin filter above/behind the glove box.
