Michelin PSS. Worth it?

About to pull the trigger on a csl rep/tyre package. Is it worth the extra £200 for PSS's over vreds sessantas or falken 453's?

I've got the same dilemma coming up as you know, you could also put Goodyear Eagle Asymmetrics in the mix too, I have the GY F1's on at the mo and been very pleased with them :driving:

In my case, the extra £50/corner (about 30% extra) was outweighed by the almost doubling in lifespan (over OEM ContiSport M3 & PS2s).

Just replaced my fronts after 46k miles and 2 years.

Yes its worth it. I have had mye PSS´s for 3 seasons now. Ive used then at the track several times and driven about 20.000km in total. Superb grip and long lasting. Also good on wet surface.

Going to purchase new wheels during this winter and also new PSS´s (Going from 19" to 18")

Had Falken FK453 on my E91. Sold them... Too noisy for my taste. The 19´s on my Z4 will go on the E91 next year.

For anyone worried about having to go to 265 width, then worry no more as Michelin's website now lists the 255/40r18 with European availability.

Can't find it listed on any of the usual tyre dealer websites though, so I assume it's a very recent addition (i.e. I bought 265s in June as they didn't list the 255).

Thanks for the replies and opinions, you've convinced me. Ordered a set today to go with a set of csl reps from CMWHEELS.
Should be with me before the weekend.

How many track days was involved to get this wear rate?
I'm very impressed!

2 track days, and 2 3-day 'Ring trips.

New set of Toyo T1-Sport goes on tomorrow. Can't wait to get rid of the runflats, although with 6mm tread left am hoping someone will give me a few quid for them on EBay.
Will be gutted if the car doesn't feel any different!

About 25-40 each trip in 2-3 lap sessions.

Although I'm there to have fun rather than set lap records, so try to keep to a steady 9 minute lap. It also means that my brake pads last 40k miles as I'm not stamping on them at every corner.
