Michelin Easy Grip Snow Chains

Saw them in Costco the other week, but passed them by as I already had auto-socks, and secondly because they only had 2 or 3 smaller sizes.
Don't forget that on a RWD car, they recommend a set on both axles (only one set needed for FWD cars).
I can't see a set suitable for our size on the website though.

We've got them for my wife's Fabia vRS. Didn't actually have to use them last winter but on a trial fitting in the driveway they were fairly easy tofit/remove (and I guess that's the problem with snow chains in general).
Don't view them as an alternative to winter tyres: you can drive on clear roads with winter tyres but not with chains or snow socks (they're destroy themselves and/or the tyre). Winter tyres help in cold conditions and snow but in a snow drift a set of chains will still work better.
Of course, it'll probably be a "f**king tropical paradise" this winter if everyone buys winter tyres/chains/4x4s :lol:

Not seen these specific one's but I do have similar reservations to above about such items. If you do fit them under what conditions? Drive until stuck in a drift then expect to fit them? Drive on a snowy road and trash them and the car as soon as you hit clear roads and given the Zed is useless in snow anyway. Carry heavier chains that will do the job better (and I do this in mountains competitions in big Jeeps and they are horrible to fit at -10c in snow and then remove to be legal on clear roads 
Personally I don't waste time with them on the likes of the Zed and i I felt the need to have the Zed in all weathers and road conditions would opt for winter tyres and be safe and secure. Same debate is ongoing on the Jag forums where they are equally useless in snow...

If you're going to drive during the winter you should have winter tire fitted even if you are not going to drive in the snow. If you do have winter tire fitted and you encounter snow they work really well.
