Michelin Crossclimate - Opinions please

I was getting a balance check at the tire shop and they had a strange looking Michelin sitting there on display, I found out that 9 stores on the west coast of Canada are a test market for the new Crossclimate tire. supposedly it's going great in Europe. There are limited sizes here for the test market.

I read the reviews and they seem pretty high on this tire as a good fit for our kind of weather. Not performance rated I guess but good for other cars.
What do you folks know about this tire....???

I’ve just bought a set of wheels with these tyres fitted, they’re a different size being 17’ compared to my previous 19’ so comparisons are slewed.
I’m enjoying the more compliant ride though :)

Don’t have them on the Z, but have them on the Alfa.

They’re not a cheap tyre, but they grip very well, handle the rain/puddles fine, and have done 25 laps of the Ring, a couple of track days, and a Z4-Forum meet without issue.

Done 30,00 mil3s in them and they’re about half worn.

I’d prefer to have these on the Z4 than full winters.

Good to know

Got these on the Touran. Completely different car to the zed but seem fine. Going to test them when we go to Switzerland in Feb, plenty of snow there.

I have them on 2011 Saab 95. Not many of those about!

So far they seem good.
Dealt with any rain, snow, slush and cold OK so far (although that isn't a lot).
Don't make too much road noise, fuel consumption is moderate to high. Car handles well on them.
As an alternative to having to swap from winter to summer tyre so far a promissing start.
