I was told to use higher octane fuel from the previous owner of the car due to it being remapped. Maybe it is just a case of needing better fuel?

Interesting as the MHD tune options only offer 91, 93 and 95oct as choices. Looks like using 100oct on a 95oct map works for me.
I've only logged 2 runs so it's hardly conclusive yet. If it does stay consistent, I'll try the stage1 and 1+ maps again.

You need to keep in mind that MHD is quoting AKI numbers not RON since it's main market is the USA.

Your 100 RON fuel is equivalent to 95 AKI.

MHD shows both RON and OCT, so I have been choosing the map with the closest OCT.
