No, but a friend of mine has owned one since he was about 18 (and he's around 47 now). With what he's spent keeping it on the road he probably could have bought 3 or 4 decent versions. It's now in the garage after spending $10,000 getting most of the rust cut out. The more they did, the more got revealed, until it was turning into a complete rebuild. He also went through a fun time where the car randomly wouldn't select reverse - he got stuck sideways trying to do a 3 point turn on a steep hill - people had to come out of their houses to help push the car back far enough to be able to turn back down the hill. I reckon he should have just jumped out and let it roll down the hill and into the distance...
As far as colour goes - the blue is beautiful. Why would you want to keep it one of the hideous original colours, just because it's 'original'?
If the designers were colour blind back in the day doesn't mean you have to suffer their poor taste.
