Hi all,

Just throwing this out there, I'm thinking of treating myself to a new MFSW, sports version and as such it would probably make sense to sell the existing one. Basically, can anybody give me an idea what it's worth? It's off my 2005, car's done 50k so the wheel has a few scuffs/scratches on the plastic bits but all the leather is very good. I don't want to Ebay it and would be very happy to sell to somebody on here.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers

Ethansdad.

They aint worth anythin mate but if you want I will pay the postage and get rid of it for you

Seriously though, there is another one for sale on here at the moment for £100

Cheers mate, I read the other one about two seconds after I posted this. Doh. Might be better to wait a while until he sells his!

I agree with Nosa, they are worthless. I'd pay the postage and throw in a bottle of 18yr old Glenfiddich for your efforts 8)

mine sold within a day - so ignore the others. I'd take RickyBobby's offer - it's a fair price.

Why don't you just get yours re-trimmed?

I just fitted mine will upload pics soon

£100 not a bad offer given the price of the MF buttons from the dealer or eBay (if you're lucky enough to find some)...

Thanks for all answers guys. Glenfiddich and some stamps is very tempting. Who'll offer a jiffy bag too?

Sam1832: I had considered the retrim option as they do look good but the company mentioned was a bit of a trek (Oxford???) as I'm in Lancashire. Look forward to seeing your pics.

I think I'll probably still go ahead and give our friends at Sopers a call, has anybody asked what they're flogging them for for recently?

RickyBobby, I'll get in touch with you first when I'm sorted to see if we can do a deal.

Cheers

Yea that must be the same company

They post it down and you post your old one back

Easy to fit about 20 mins

It's very good indeed

Update on the price of a new "Sports" steering wheel, not M......£540!!! Sopers will do for £450. Still, ouch. So the re-trim option now looks much more interesting! Look forward to seeing your photos Sam!

Cheers

Maybe to you but the truth is multi-function wheels are not that common. Most cars for sale do not have them fitted. They do not come up for sale that often and those in breakers yards fly out very quickly. The button kit on it's own is hundreds of pounds from a dealer. They will therefore sell for between £100 and £150 depending on condition.
