It's time to refurb my steering wheel but I'm struggling to find a Star drive small enough to remove these from the controls. Anyone know the size?

Shouldn’t be that hard, I have a set of torx drivers and screwdriver bits from screwfix, both have bit that fit.

It it possible to get the larger paddle switch out? I've refurbed the other parts but not sure how I remove this without damaging it.

I left in place and masked up ensuring tape went right down the sides.

Did you do them matt or satin black?

I masked mine rather than strip down. All went OK. I removed all the rubberised gunk and have done all my spokes and control surrounds satin silver to match the dash and interior trim. Looks quite nice.
