MFSW adaptor

Hi folks, my car came with a Kenwood head unit but I can't control it via the MFSW - I've done a search but not much luck so far.

Is it possible to buy an interface cable to enable me to use them?
 
Surely if they used the correct adaptor it should work. Have you looked to see if you can buy an adaptor harness from standard bmw to whatever make stereo you have. :thumbsup:
 
That's the question I'm asking those on here that are more knowledgeable than myself
 
Perhaps the standard loom adapter has been used. You need a steering wheel control unit, I have one but it intermittently doesn't work after periods of use so take my recommendation with a pinch of salt:
