Anyone brought any of these http://www.mfestforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3943 ?

I like the idea of no chrome on the M. Although would like a set of roundell badges with german colours like the ///M badge they have.

Already done black grills, but debating sourcing a carbon set as they look a little cheap. Anyone seen any available on the side of the pond?

Cheers

they do them with the flag and a chrome M as well

Firmly on the fence on these. At first hated them but the chrome with German flag colours is OK IMO.

The roundels are too dark. Better the B/W as fitted to the white M3

Coloured '///M' not sure. Depends on paint colour and rest of mods on car

i had a bit of fun with different badges for a while...But they look a bit naff, not cheap either!

They're not particularly accurate either, as BMW is based in the Bavarian part of Germany (Munich is the capital of Bavaria) and the white & blue they currently use on the badges is to show this Bavarian heritage.

The black part of the colour scheme doesn't work on any component with a black background - as shown in the photos of the badges themselves.

If they want to show where the car was built, then why not create a Red & White version for those assembled in Regensberg (Bavaria again), or in Green, White & Red for the Mexican flag where the US models are assembled :P

Smart arse!

These were always going to divide opinion.

I like them as much for blacking out the M as much as anything. Quite like the standard colours with black M too.

It's good that everyone likes different things though.
