Mewant Steering Wheel Covers for M Wheel

I forgot to add that I ordered the red stitched one and shipping is available from Germany total £22 so no import duty and delivery within 20 days. :D

It looks really fab! Tell me, in the bench pictures it seems there are no creases, but when it's in the car there are creases. What happened?

I wondered this too. I think better light in the fitted car picture probably makes them more visible. Also the two creases either side of the bottom spoke are exactly where the OEM leather seam is so I suspect this is unavoidable and the leather has sunk into these areas overnight after fitting.

I think this isn't an issue with the non m cover but seeing as this was custom and based on a thicker version of a normal wheel (i think) then this was probably overlooked.

Unsure if Steve has the standard or m wheel. I did mention mewant don't seem to have a standard listing for the m version hence the custom order and a standard one will not fit an m wheel. Just making sure there's no confusion for m wheel owners!

Hi, I have the standard wheel. Thanks.

The link takes you to an 'artificial leather' cover? I thought it was real?

Just had a quick look on Ali express, the genuine one is understandable a bit more expensive but here is the link to it. All the customisation is done through either choices on the listing or messaging them with the order. You can change the materials for the top/bottom/sides, stitching colour and also a colour stripe at the 12 o clock position.

It took just 5 days to get the cover - We have your item at Gatwick MC and it's on its way. We expect to deliver it on 07/11/2020.

So final picture. Here's it fitted in the car. Few minor creases but you're always going to get that with a cover over the top of the existing leather. Pretty happy with it!
Looks great! So did you use the tape or not?

Nice bump

I've got some areas you can see the tape because I had to pull the material together. If I were to do it again I'd use a sticky glue, but not superglue. You want working time with the glue before it sets. Pound land jobbie should do it I imagine.

I didn’t actually end up using the tape at all as it was quite tight so seems to hold itself in place fine without. Something I do regret is accidentally leaving the internal sticker on which has left a slight bulge on the top of the steering wheel. I would also try to smooth out the sew line intents on the original wheel as these don’t match where they are on the cover.
