Is your wheel the thicker M wheel?

Does anybody know if the royals retrims remove the old leather and replace, or just over the top like this?

(I've seen there is leather and non leather wheel covers so if I do go down this route I'll make sure to get leather)

Sure the Royals cover the wheel.
Because they bulk the thickness... to make it more like an M? I'd also assume that if you ever wanted to revert back to stock you could...

I'm having mine done by a German refurber and they replace all the filling and thumb-wrests and recover. Also had Dietcokeman repaint the spokes for me in silver. That's for the M wheel.

Standard wheel.

I think Jack removes the old, otherwise it would be bulky as hell with two layers of stitching.

Op - the result looks very good. Guess you'll just have to see how it wears over time. That may be the biggest difference between this, and the considerably more expensive options.

It's not a daily so it shouldn't be an issue. Hopefully.

Yeah - looks like a very impressive finish from the pictures, can't tell the difference from a Royals Refurb
