mesh console storage "thing"?

See the attached picture. The circled mesh pouch thing. What is the "official" term for it and where can I get it?

On realoem.com for my 2003, the part number is: 51477116156.
They call it the Front floor parcel net $23.50.
 
Not sure why, but the part number that I have is 51477114523 - but when I search RealOEM.com, it shows part 51477116156 (as mentioned above). Perhaps it has been updated over time, and 51477116156 is the new part number? I paid UK£17 for mine.

I do know that you need to buy the fasteners separately - part 51472263062. You need 4 of them (they just screw into the carpet) and they are about 50p each.
 
Parcel Net? :lol: What parcel? Pack of gum? Tin of mints?

To be fair, I do use mine on occasion. Usually on road trips for notes and papers that I need easy access to. Looks too cluttered to keep anything in it permanently. More useful than the rest of the "Convenience package" though, the nets on seat backs. The only thing you can store there is an A sized envelope, and have to run the seat back forward at 5cm/min to access it. Oh so convenient. :thumbsdown:

Thanks for pointing that out to me. I hate that this forum does not have the option to "upload" images.
 
I think they came as part of the "storage pack" which, IIRC was that net plus a couple at the back of the seats.

Not very, no, but given how pitifully low on storage the Z4 is, every little helps!

I installed one on the passenger side and my wife has found it useful for storing maps, tickets and other paperwork when we have been on holiday.
