Merry Christmas to me - MC Content!

You fool, you dam fool!! Now I will have to race you in the MR2 on new years eve :P
You have been making noises about getting one, well done

Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing it on the 29th. Will have to get mine next to it for some pictures! Silver grey metallic and CSLs is excellent!

Congratulations!

I love the colour combo and it is one of the best looking cars ever made for me 8)

I'm really chuffed for you getting one because I know you've fancied one for a while.

Have fun and enjoy it. :driving:

Absolutely superb, congratulations! Love the colour combo too :D

Well done Mr Tidy.
I'd like to add an MC to my collection and was severly tempted when I saw that one advertised
Only lack of parking spaces and the threat of divorce stopped me :x

Thanks for all the kind wishes everyone.

I knew it was just a matter of time after I looked at the Interlagos one back in June that was up for £15K, but went on Ebay for £13.5K a few weeks later. :headbang:

Still it has probably all worked out better in the end as this one has done 16K less miles. :D

Just to respond to a couple of things people have mentioned it is on Michelin Pilot Sports so that may be why it feels a bit more lively than my 3 litre, even though that is on Bridgestone run-flats. :o

As it will have to live outdoors it will be used all year, but not when there is any chance of ice or salt on the roads!

And it did come with a (very heavy) suitcase containing the OE springs and shocks, as well as a set of H & R lowering springs & shocks that Syd had on his previous M. I just need to work out what set up to go with. It's definitely too low at present so I might start off by raising the coil-overs and see how that feels. As in so low that when I went into my local Sainsburys yesterday something ground on the rubber speed hump.

But sadly it won't be going out now until the New Year when it'll be taxed!

If the weather is OK it'll be at the Black Swan on Sunday 12 January.

Oh that’s great. Means I can still wear my Silver/Imola dress on the 29th. :D

Well look at who got all the pies at once.

Stonking looker, my 1st choice colour after Sepang & snap on Imola Red Leather.... I couldn’t get on with the front Eibachs I had fitted with the B12 Billy kit... so running standard front springs, rear Eibachs & B6 dampers all round... this setup (recommended by Stu) is IMO perfect for a road car on our imperfect roads.

Roll on 2020 for a meet.

Congratulations Mr Tidy! That's an absolute beauty. And like others, I was very tempted by this one myself a while ago.

Congrats. Your recent posts supporting an ///M over a 3.0l made me think it was only a matter of time...

Thanks, after I drove one for the first time in June it was indeed only ever a matter of time!
