Thanks for all the kind wishes everyone.
I knew it was just a matter of time after I looked at the Interlagos one back in June that was up for £15K, but went on Ebay for £13.5K a few weeks later.
Still it has probably all worked out better in the end as this one has done 16K less miles.
Just to respond to a couple of things people have mentioned it is on Michelin Pilot Sports so that may be why it feels a bit more lively than my 3 litre, even though that is on Bridgestone run-flats.
As it will have to live outdoors it will be used all year, but not when there is any chance of ice or salt on the roads!
And it did come with a (very heavy) suitcase containing the OE springs and shocks, as well as a set of H & R lowering springs & shocks that Syd had on his previous M. I just need to work out what set up to go with. It's definitely too low at present so I might start off by raising the coil-overs and see how that feels. As in so low that when I went into my local Sainsburys yesterday something ground on the rubber speed hump.
But sadly it won't be going out now until the New Year when it'll be taxed!
If the weather is OK it'll be at the Black Swan on Sunday 12 January.
