However, bolt hole OCD is essential - have a few old toothbrushes handy and get the brake dust, salt and crap out each one every time you wash it. On almost all the 108s I have seen, bolt holes is where the corrosion starts...

My rear tyres were bought for Christmas. . . .months ago, then some months later my new wheels (for Christmas). . . . then the strut bar (for Christmas). . .

Bought my wife's earliest present (for Christmas) at the start of the summer. . . . :rofl:

Never a problem on mine and I was never that ocd about the bolt holes although they always looked clean. It was always the join on the inside that mine started going on both sets. Third set I ran a clear bead of silicone round so see if that helped, but didn't have the car long enought to find out.
 
seriously awesome wife imo..... she deserves a seriously nice meal out and grade A treatment. i love it when i see the women in our lives doing stuff like this, for them its totally alien and they don't understand, so usually thoughts like these take ALOT of effort, their aren't many "carols" around that are genuine car nuts. look after her.
