Mercedes F1

It's a face-saving punishment, Ferrari and Red Bull will moan that it's not harsher but Mercedes and Pirelli would have challenged anything more than a token slap on the wrist

Rules will be clarified, all toys will be put back in their respective prams and the season will go on as though nothing has happened...

I'm in agreement here could have been much harsher but that would probably have led to a prolonged legal war.

Forgive and forget.

Very small punishment but fair as nobody wanted to risk loosing Merc or Pirelli from the championship. However, Mercedes will be the happier of all as they gained more than they will loose by running their race drivers. Ross Brawn is the man

I agree if the penalties/ punishments where to harsh no one would have won. Every one would have had egg on there faces.

This way it's over and one with. Now we can all concentrate on cars speed and lovely pit girls agin :)
