Hi folks need some help it would seem my memory function on my seat is not working .I have followed the instructions in manual the light comes on press the button then move the seat press button to return nothing .Can anyone help ?

Are they not moving at all manually, simply not storing a chosen position, or not moving to the chosen position with the key?

I can only suggest that you try to set them with the ignition on. I have found them to be temperamental.

Whatever you do do not disconnect the seat power connector with the ignition on else you'll activate an airbag warning light

All the buttons are working ok ,seats moving as requested just the memory function thats not working.Checked the fuses they are ok ,the function has worked once, but refuses to work again, strange

I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding you, Stu, but I don't think what you described is in the right order. I think you need to move the seat to where you want it, then press the rear button (which then lights up red), then press the numbered button you want to programme. It sounds like you are trying to move the seat after you have lit up the rear button which I believe will cancel the programme function. But then again .,....I've been wrong before.

sorry if i was not clear.I moved seat to where i wanted it then pressed memory then 1,then the wife got in moved the seat to where she was happy pressed memory then button 2 . I got back in pressed memory then 1to return it nothing happens.I am pretty sure i am doing it correctly tell me if this is not right . Tryed just pressing button 1 still nothing, anyone else having trouble with this function ?

When you get back in don't press memory again, just press 1 and it should work I think :)

That is correct - just tried it with mine. Once the settings are programmed in you just have to press the number button to move it to that position. If you press memory first, it will just set that current seat position into the number button and so appear to have done nothing.

Thanks for all the help everone, been having a senior moment i think. You are correct if you move the seat you just press 1 2 or 3 . I have been pressing the memory button first ,feeling a bit silly now :headbang:
