Memory seats - No longer one touch operation ?

Hi,

I programmed a couple of seat positions into the memory seat buttons a couple of weeks ago, and tested them. One touch of button number 1 or 2 moved the seat into the predefined position. Now, however, it seems I have to keep the button pressed while it moves into position - regardless of if the key is in the ignition or not.

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance

Why do you even need to touch the buttons? If you programme it right upon opening the door with the remote the seat moves to the correct position for each respective key.

I need to "touch the buttons" as one of the programmed positions I have is with the seat full forward and tilted - so I can hoover behind the seats.

How do you do that?

Under programming options set 'seat adjustment' to 'after unlocking with remote control' Any dealer or Indy will set it along with a lot of other settings.

Perfect for me as Mrs CJa dn I have our own keys and it sets seats and a few other things on unlocking

That makes sense too - I press the button '3' when I leave it with my garage so as soon as I unlock it the car reverts to my settings.

I use the different settings for motorway slouching and one for active driving :)

Nope I'll get onto that tomora, ta

Then you'll see loads of things marked with a symbol. You can also ask the dealer for a full print out applicable to your model and year
