Members in South Hants area?

So far we've been useless.

So I put it this way.

Does anybody fancy an evening meet (run optional) out at The Meon Hut on Thursday 16th Auguest? Say 7-7.30ish?
 
Sounds like a plan - though we'd prefer the Friday evening (17th), as no work the next day. Would that work for everybody else?

I am moving house on the 18th....but so far as I can tell, that doesn't affect the 17th...
 
17th sounds good, although I have a busy week ahead so the car will be filthy!

can I be counted in on this?...I'm in Titchfield (Fareham), but have work on Friday and have to stay late for a meeting :headbang:, but am free any other night this week

OK - just to recap, the proposal is to meet up at the Meon Hut - which I assume is http://www.westmeonpub.co.uk/.

There's no one day that's perfect for everybody, but those interested, as far as I can tell, are:
  • miln0039 - who suggested the get together, and prefers Thursday 16, but can make Friday 17th
  • ZedFourM - that's me, and I'd prefer Friday 17th, but can make Thursday 16th
  • jim80 - with his dirty car, can make either night
  • georgie_no23 - is having to work late on Friday, but could make any other night

So ... let's go for Thursday 16th, at 7:30pm. I'll be planning to get something to eat at the pub (don't get home from work until nearly 7, so it'll be a bit of a rush).

Does that work for everybody? If so, please confirm on this thread. And if anybody else can make it, then the more the merrier!

Glad somebody was organised enough to do this! Yes, 7:30pm at West Meon works for me, I will probably also get food there as I won't get home from work until c.7 either!

I will keep a close eye on here for updates!

No drive currently planned, but if you have any suggestions for a route then please shout!

The drive across from Winchester to Petersfield is quite nice, so (especially if it's dry) my wife and I will enjoy that.
 
I will certainly be heading from the Hut after we're done up to Winchester than probably back down the Morestead Road :)
 
I hit the central reservation with my wheels last night...badly kerbed both offside wheels!! Only coming if my wheels get sorted by tomorrow!!
