Hi all,

Been trolling (researching) for a few weeks now as we've recently made a rash decision to hand back our 2-series in exchange for a similar aged (65 plate) Z4 28i sDrive M Sport in Estoril Blue. We pick her up in the next week.

I look forward to being part of the community.

Question I have, did BMW issue a specific special edition or model as we've stumbled across 3 identical (spec to spec) models within a 1 hour drive of us, the only difference is the dash trim. I wonder if it was a show car spec?

I look forward to the hmm of the 2l petrol engine, I still miss my 2.4d Brera, but this should plug that hole!!
 
Hi, as far as I know there was no special edition? It’s either an M sport or an SE spec car with different interior trims/wheels etc being available as options.
Most of the owners on here with 6 cylinder zeds will tell you the 20i is the work of the devil :lol: , they’re true to a certain extent as the 4 cylinder turbo doesn’t sound as sophisticated but they can certainly be made to go well :driving:

That is a great colour - I hope the week doesn't drag too much!

I don't know much about E89s as I've only had E86s, but my first one had a few choice options like Individual Ruby Black paint, Xenons, heated seats and the upgraded 10 speaker stereo - probably because it was a pre-registered car. Maybe that applies to some of the cars you have seen, or they may have been demonstrators.

I hope it plugs the Brera gap - and more!

Sorry, the 18i, 20i & the 28i all have the same 2.0 four cylinder n20 engines whereas the Z model range has traditionally had a stronger following for the 6 cylinder range in various capacities. They all have their plus points :thumbsup:

Wonder if anyone can help, checking my vin suggests I have many of the features of the ZNP (Media Package):

– 609 Navigation system
– BMW Professional Multimedia
– 6AC BMW Emergency Call
– 6AE BMW TeleServices
– 6AK BMW Online Services
– 6AM Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI)
– 6AN Information Plus
– 6AP Remote Services

However I don't have:

– 6NR BMW Apps interface4
– 6NS Enhanced Bluetooth telephone preparation with USB audio

Which I am finding strange as according to the manual the features we do have are "Only with and included in ZNP".

Anyone else come across this? I'm keen to get these coded (will try myself first) but where do other people suggest I go for it?

Welcome to the forum :thumbsup: very nice colour.

Hi have, or should I say, my wife now has, a pauper spec 2016 SDrive 18i with the same package the only exception is the Remote Services. These are all part of the ‘BMW Connected Drive’, you can register using your vin and you should be able to determine how much longer they are booked.
 
Thanks @GBZ4, I've already added the new car to my ConnectedDrive, but said features are not available to purchase, in fact they are not even listed, hence the problem.

If anyone knows much about Coding these things, I'd appreciate a PM
