Afternoon everyone.
My’Red Z’ is for sale. I have owned it for almost three years now having purchased it from a fellow forum member. During that time it has been cherished and has given me an enormous amount of pleasure. However, it has covered very few miles in the last year and for various reasons I won’t bore you with that is unlikely to change.
The car is 2010 model in Melbourne Red and has covered just over 44000 miles from new. There have been three previous owners.
It does not have iDrive but I have had an Android Screen fitted by a fellow forum member, Anubis Zed. He also fitted a digital radio aerial. Apple Car Play and a GapTech roof module. So raising and lowering the roof is easy with one touch.

Having seen this car I can attest it’s stunning in Melbourne red and has a fantastic provenance!

Really needs a better ad than this as its a cracking looking car especially with the wheels you put on it last year.
Needs a price too. :)

Apologies for the ad. I started to write it and then touched something inadvertently on the iPad and off it went to the forum. Been trying to do the job properly since then but there has been one interruption after another. Hopefully I will manage to put something a bit more worthwhile for your perusal soon. :oops:

Right Forum Members. Here I am again attempting to complete the ad for the sale of my ‘Red Z’.
The first bit you have already read
The car has a full BMW service history and in my care has additionally had carried out an annual oil change at my local independent garage.
It benefits from the BMW warranty insurance policy which is in force until The end of March 22.
The MOT has recently been completed without any advisories and is not due until 7th May 22.
Inside and out the car is in excellent condition.

In addition to what I listed in my very short original accidental ad. it has:
Heated sports memory seats
Parking sensors front and rear
Wind blocker
Dash cams front and rear
E89 specific rubber mats. You can no longer buy these. I also have the original monogrammed mats which are pristine.
Chrome side repeaters. Originals available too.
Black grill. Silver one available too.
Interior is black Kansas leather and shows no sign of wear on the bolsters
Wheels are 19 inch Aviatics. This company only makes wheels for BMWs I believe
Tyres are Continental Sport 6 and have plenty of tread left.

How lovely. The wheels have an Alpina-esque nod to them. Very nice. I’m sure this wont be around for long. Good luck with the sale. :thumbsup:

Hi Stuart.
I have given it a lot of thought but the reality is I use the car so very little. It’s a sin and a shame. Plus when they stand for too long problems develop so I think it’s time to move it on. I am going to look at i3s for running around in. We bought a new Passat R Line Estate with 272 GTI engine and all the toys a short while. That we will use for longer journeys and the i3 for running about. See how we. I can always change things around again.

Original pristine monogramed mats. Could be interested if the buyer doesn't get them as part of the deal???
 
Thanks for your best wishes Wyldie and Andy.. I will miss the Z if it goes. It is without doubt my most favourite car and I have had well over 50 over the years. :)

I knew it would be worth the wait. That, sir, is absolutely bloody fantastic.
I would have that in a heartbeat if my wife was not averse to autos (God knows why). GLWTS :thumbsup:
