Meguiars convertible weatherproof spray.

Just bought the Meguiars convertible & cabriolet weatherproofer for my car last night. I actually witnessed a bird crap hit it 5 minutes after spraying the full can on the hood so I flung water on it & it just fell off, no stain or infact water. Expensive but worth every penny. Seems the hydrophobic formula repels almost anything, not sure how long it lasts though. Just thought I'd share my find for anyone interested.

Tbh that's not expensive.

Reminds me, I have another dose of my AG kit left and should do mine again before the end of August. After that, I may well try the Megs

I used this on my TT soft top:

Worked a treat, I got a small one and it didn't take much so got loads left to do the zed.

The water didn't sheet off, it did however bead like like it was on well waxed paint work.

Does the megs stuff mark the paint work at all?

Yeah it's like a fine oily streak if it goes on it. Noticed it on my boot when I got home, but it came off fine with a microfibre cloth.

I had to try it again & poured the dog bowl of water on it. It repels water & dog drool, so add that to the list of hydrophobic qualities. Water, bird crap & dog drool.
