Been using the megs da microfiber system today, pretty happy with the results, and have to say for my first use of a da (das 6 pro) its was pretty easy and forgiving

No

I washed with juicy bubblegum snow foam and autglym shampoo then born slippy and auto finesse clay bar on Friday. Then a quick rince on sat and the megs da stuff. Correction compound and its pad first then the finishing wax and its pad second. I thought I'd need to wax but then realised its all done

The finish is superb, car is super smooth. A friend saw it last night after the clay and then today after if finished and reconed the difference was days and nights. The correction stuff tools blemishes off like they were not there. Even quite bad looking marks. I just did it for a bit then buffed the stuff off and if there was a mark did it again. Repeat until no mark but only on a few did it take more than 2 goes.

The das6 pro is good and solid. Can't fault it

Looks very shiny, nice job

I've got a das6 pro which is a brilliant machine. From my experience, the results that it produces depends on the pads and type of polish used

Nice work mate. Colour looks cool after the correction. Let us know what wax you end up using will give the car a nice wet look!

im not sure i will do much else, the second part of the DA system from megs is a wax so i dont think it needs it, although if i did do something it would be using poor boys natty blue cos i have a tub of it in the garage.

some one said to me it looks new, so cant complain at that. just need to do the wheels and the inside next.

Looks great, have you had a good look? Are there any swirls? Was it really as easy as the kit suggests?

Take ma hat off to you, great job.

i didn't have a lot of swirls to start with but the paint was dull not shiney. i tend to put megs ultimate quick detailer on after a wash as i use this alot on the bathtub (aka westy) but even this didn't really do the job that well. i was always a bit disappointed in it.

i did have a massive scratch on the bonet about 2 foot long. looks like a a bit of grit on the mitt type mark. the first go over brought this out more, a second go at it got rid of most of it and then a 3rd go finished off the last little bit.

i just worked in areas about 1/2 the size of the boot lid and did about 4 passes where each pass was 1x left to righ over the area then 1x top to bottom over the area. repeat where needed.

its as easy as they say cant fault it. its even made the dent on the door look not so bad. the paint looks like its just been done, smooth as glass and no blemishes
