Just being a thread starter this time... :) Had a chance to meet a couple of new Z4M owners today. Gotta love the community... such great enthusiasts.

More pics to follow.

Erhan, Whats with the red 'tape' round the wheel arch - chip protection?
That car belongs to a friend who tracks his car a lot (and I mean a lot). He's also an instructor. He does that to get chip protection on the track, as you've said. His car was on track setup (track wheels, tires and brake pads) and since he'll be on the track in couple days, he didn't change his setup for the day.

This is another picture of his car with (I believe) 3.5degress of negative camber for track use. Definite cure for the understeer :) Pretty cool 8)

I want that Sepang Bronze Coupe.

$500 for the guy who sticks it in a container for me and ships it to Southampton. No questions asked.

What wheels are on yours Rick?

Car's ready! transfer the money and it'll be with you the next day!

M6 ones.

This sets a standard for us in the UK - We'll have to get them all lined up next time we meet and get Russ to get arty with them all.
22 Zed's in a couple of rows from the last N Wales meet would have been just the job. :camera:

mister_roger, what's the finish on your wheels?
I love the m6 alloys, but on all other cars think they look a bit much for what I'm aiming for, but yours look perfect! Are they 18" machine finished replicas?

They are 18" replicas with silver painted inserts. Rick's are 19" with charcoal inserts. Original M6 wheels also have charcoal inserts if I'm not mistaken. The outer face surface is the same machine finish on both versions, but I think with how light reflects off the spokes the surface appears to look brighter/darker.

I think it's the silver inserts that give them the look that I really like... definitely back on the table as an option when I visit my wheels early next year
