Looks to be a decent example at a pretty reasonable price. If somebody could snare this for £17.5k I think you've got a decent deal.

I don't know a great deal about all of the modifications, but if done well I'd imagine this will be a very nice car to drive. I'm sure some of our resident experts will add details about the mods:

Ground Control Coilover
380mm Stoptech Brakes
OEM CSLs
Supersprint Exhaust
Gruppe M Induction Kit

JUst get rid of the tacky decal on the front bumper, re-instate the side ///M badges and you're onto a winner

If someone is looking for an OEM Z4M, they could do worse than buy this and sell the high quality mods. I reckon they'd end up with an amazingly good value car by putting it back to standard.

That is a beauty indeed and agreed if you were to sell the CSL etc, the price of the car is very reasonable.

I wonder how much the buyer could make should they decide to replace the mods with OEM parts:

CSLs - £900 (Sell CSLs for £1500, purchase 224s for £600)
Ground Control Coilovers - ?
Gruppe M Induction Kit - ?
Supersprint Exhaust - ?
Stoptech 380mm Brakes - ?

I'm not too "up to date" with the modding world, anybody have any ideas?

Could easily run into £2.5k+??

EDIT: ANy professional costs needed to remove/ install components need to be factored in.

Nice Zed.
Odd what adds up to £19k of receipts? What was paid x months/years ago plus all mods?
That would surely make it overpriced at £18k, being only £1k less than paid.

I wonder whether all receipts refers to all mods + Services + Consumables + Detailing + wheel refurbs etc.

You'd still struggle to get to 19k though.

EDIT: I guess if warranty work is added in then it could easily get to £19k.

Purchase Price £17000
1 run-in Service£500
Mods off of eBay £1500
= £19000?
Ok, without the car/

Full Fluid change,Wipers, , BMW Main Dealer Service used for servicing AND fitting all the mods, bit of Main Dealer Paintwork, London Prices Main Dealer Supaguard, screenwash, valeting, etc Car Tax, Mot's Options?
Fuel maybe? Parking Tickets? Flights and hotel for Munich to pick it up?

If all the parts were bought new, then I'd guess:

CSLs & Tyres - £2500
Ground Control Coilovers - £2000
Gruppe M Induction Kit - £750
Supersprint Exhaust - £750 (assuming just the backboxes)
Stoptech 380mm Brakes - £2500

So a total of over £8k in parts. Probably not a lot of fitting costs in anything there though.

The other £11k would have to be petrol, servicing, insurance, warranty, etc. :P

My rather suspicious mind says "with those mod's this has seen a fair amount of track time". So I'd be immediately thinking it might say 31k on the odometer but the reality is it has probably done the equivalent of quite a lot more when you factor in track miles.

I know you can never know for sure if a car has been tracked when you buy one, unless you buy from new or know the previous owner, but knowing one has would probably make me pass and move on to the next.

I agree with all the points. It's overpriced and the mods would actually put me off.

It also has schrick cams,I emailed the dealer a few weeks ago when it first came up for sale, then it disappeared & I presumed it was sold, now back on again missing out the cams on the list of mods.I'd of gone for a test drive as it looks like a decent example, but as I'm in devon & the garage is in aberdeen it wasn't really an option.
Agree on the possibility of track use,it would make sense with the mods.

It could be like my mate and his CSL.

He spends thousands on bits & pieces to make it better on track (e.g. £4.5k for a Alcon big brake kit) and then is too scared to take it on track in case he damages something.

If I was in the market for a low mileage Z4MC at around £17k then I'd definitely give this a good look over, and even if some of the items are a bit more worn I've still saved due to not having to do all the mods on a standard car.

Wonder what they'd give me in part-ex for my 90k mile standard one :P

Would be nice as my daily driver ;)

.... Oh to dream :)

However no heated seats for those cold winter days :(

Hi everyone, seen this post regarding the z4 that's for sale, the car has a large folder of receipts and pictures when the work was carried out , il breakdown the costs from memory ,CSL wheels £1700, Michilin tyres £1200, Schrik cams £1250 , followers £900, Fitting £1000 , Stoptec brakes £6000, supersprint full exhaust £3000, Ground control coilovers with adjustable camber arms £2000, gruppe m induction kit £1000, the car has been rolling roaded @ 368 bhp , I took the car back in part x against my own evo 9 fq340 and although I have to admit that I'm not a massive fan of the z4 m i appreciated how much money had been spent on this car by its original owner, who had the car up in till last year. Going by the dates on the paper work The work was carried out from the middle of 2011 and finished about march 2012 it was sold to my customer in aug 2012, he told me the guy was getting divorced and that the car was part of a settlement , I did take a deposit at the end of last month from a local guy who test drove it 3 times but on the day he was picking it up reckoned the suspension was too hard for town driving , I personally think it's no worse than standard civic type r ,I have contemplated putting the car back to standard and selling the upgraded parts but would rather wait and sell it to some one who will appreciate it like I have, I have removed the sticker on the front bumper as I did also think it looked abit tacky!!!

That is like... Exactly where I would go with my Z if I had the money! That is one hell of a beauty!!!

It has everything snap it up someone before I'm tempted to part x mine!!!
