May only keep the Z for another year!

Its what I want to do but need to pull my finger out and organise something, sure some other zedders/pistonheaders might be up for it

Not normally great a fan of 4x4s but i do like the X6, has a very stylish look to it

Yep unless you're into night driving, or enjoy getting up at the crack of dawn at the week end theres not much room on the roads these days to get maximum fun from the Z :(

I plan my days out with the Zed. Promise of good weather, especially on a Sunday then I'm up and out to catch the empty roads in Yorkshire or North Wales. If you plan your route then it is possible to find some quiet B roads even on a busy weekend. I regard it as part of the fun of driving these days.

Would love an X6 though, Two fingers to all the tree huggers :) Imagine the reaction to the X6M

I do the get up early on a Sunday but its cameras and sneaky old bill that worry me and they seem to always be around on a Sunday morning :(

Sadly no Le-Mans this year as thats a good run but still have to be alert as the fines are getting huge need to get over to Germany still not driven my Z4 Flat out yet nearly but not the full speed to risky over here.

Would i sell her know way still feels special just cruising :D

get up an out early - less traffic :D

:driving:

A good time is when a big football match is on! I remember going out on my motorbike when England was last in the World Cup (can't stand football). It was like having a private road race track!! :P

Yep always a good time for us football hating people
Football sucks :tumbleweed:

At least I live in the "real world". :poke: :P

To be honest, my Z4 is too good for the real world and that's the problem!

I obliterated a Porshe Carrera 4, an M3 Coupe and a Z4 Roadster amongst others this morning on the way to work on my 50cc Scooter!! They had no chance!! :P Being stuck in rush hour traffic is a good car leveller!

Some of you M owners need to move on now. Rattled you a few months ago by the seem of it!

Not sure on the X6 though, saw one the other day in Carlilse, the wife liked it though, she's trying to convince to change the Zed for a 6 series convertible.

My Mum has a 630 convertible, my opinion is stick with the Z. It's a good car but just lacks the fun of the Z4. She wants something in a Coupe next.

The only rattle is my teeth due to the suspension ...

I'm not keen on soft-top cars, but you do have a point. Mind you, in traffic I'd rather breath filtered air!

May sound a daft idea from moi, I wonder if it would be possible to chop the roof off an X6 and turn it into a convertible?
