May be going Crazy!

My Z has developed a slight hesitation at around 1800-2000 revs. It happens more in sport mode, but I'm not sure if it's not just me. The throttle seems so sensitive in sport mode and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this?

Today I replaced all 6 coil packs as I know they are normally poo (got Bosch ones). And the car has 38k and had the head rebuilt not that long ago. Maf seems fine, but have taken the mesh out etc.

I know it's not vanos, and this certainly does not happen often, and it's like a milli second blip on the throttle, but only at the above revs. Hard acceleration is perfect, and now I have smooth acceleration as I suspected the coil packs to be at fault to a point.

This is not just me, as it quite noticeable some times. It's like when the traction cuts in, a milli sec blip and then resumes power.

Taken spark plugs out and although brown ish (normal) they have not broken down and all the same.

So any ideas anyone?

And yes I know I should get a dig, which I will do. But wanted to see if anyone has had symptoms like this, as ship killer described something similar.
