Maxton Designs e86 boot spoiler

I've just seen that Maxton Designs is now offering a boot spoiler for the e86.

Has anyone on here fitted one of these and if so what is the fit like?

I put one on my e86 when I had it. Pretty easy to fit, although I added extra 3M adhesive onto it for peace of mind. I measured it all up with reference points on the boot as well as at the top of the boot to work out the centre. I believe Sam who I sold my car to still has it on the car currently.

Looks very similar to the Skyer 'ducktail' one I've got...albeit Maxton ones are plastic, not carbon...so significantly cheaper

I bought one back in the spring, I've laid it on top of the hatch a few times, not sure. I haven't installed it yet and I may not.

Thanks for the response guys, touch choice isn't it. I think the OEM one's were a lot more subtle. I suppose i need to pick the car up first though. Buying my old e86 back on Saturday, haven't seen it in over 6 years

The Maxton spoiler is a perfect fit. And so is the Skyer unit. Some of the OE copies are not, they seem to have a strange twist to them that prevent a perfect fitment.
