i would have thought a limiter would work on the speed sensor and limit the throttle input regardless of gear?

4th - 139mph
5th -171mph

Saw 159mph on a sat nav and 165mph indicated on an autobahn today in 5th gear and there was more to go. The car is a standard Z4M. Planted but scary!
