Hi

Got a Z4 05 2.2i plate, just taken a new job and going to be doing round 25000 miles
So far I get 30 /31 mile to gallon (Uk) but that is in relation to old position which is mainly urban/town driving.

What the max any body got out of a tank mine - 335miles and best mpg 32.10 - 47 litres

I like my car and i do not want to sell it !!!

Many Thanks

2005 3.0i auto with mixed driving, 240 mile range tops. Nice. :o :)

Expensive fcuker that car.

Try getting it serviced or get a manual... :poke: I get around 325 out of a tank before the 'Feed Me!' light comes on even if you rag it a fair bit of the time...

I can't give you the range but I've had a ownership average of about 36mpg in mixed driving with not too much town stuff. I'm sure it would do better but that's not why I bought it really.

I've run a diesel for the daily commute unless it's sunny as I can’t even remember the journey some days it's so boring :( leaving the Zed for blowing out the cobwebs :driving:

Most ever driving like an angel was inexcess of 400 miles and playing petrol roulette.
Light usually comes on around 325-350.

No longer have car, notice sig!! :poke: :poke:

Car serviced several times, no notable difference, even cleaned the MAF. 3.0i with the auto box is not the most economical.

During a 6 hour trip one day this week, with mixed city/highway driving, using cruise some of the time and getting on it some of the time, top up, I made it 355 miles before the low fuel light came on. I drove it another 10 miles until fill up, and had an OBC estimated 22 miles remaining (387 miles est. per tank).

Up until this week (I start a new job Monday) I have been doing a 100 mile round trip to work 4 days a week (some times 5) and can manage just over 400 miles to the tank. Average was 350. I thought about getting a cheep diesel but decided against it.
My car managed 20.000 miles between services and its booked in for a oil service a coopers tunbridge next week which cost £150 which I thought was very reasonable.
