Max £11k, comfort, speed & Auto, what would you choose?

As above really - if you had a max of £11k and had to choose a car which gave good power, comfortable and had to be an Automatic (not a Z4!) what would you choose? Sorry about the lack of budget but there you go....

Both do! High miles but these cars wil go for ever I suppose.

Used and Seats = don't care.

Reason I ask is because I am terrible with buying and selling cars, only ever keep em for a few months cause I get bored. Don't want to do that this time cause I'm loosing a fortune. problem is I love two types of cars and they are both at opposite ends - 1st is sports cars and 2nd is luxury autos but I can never decide so been thinking of what's in between?

merc probably if you want a comfy auto, loads of cheap larger engined petrol ones or oil burners for your budget.
