Maurits' progress thread: '03 E85 3.0i (now) supercharged & '08 E86 3.0si

Hey Mau, welkom!! Hup Holland :P

Nice looking Zed's...! I was wondering: I also have parts of the Aero kit installed on my zed: rear and side-skirts. But I do not have the front bumper. If you are going to swap it to an M-bumper, I would be willing to take the old aero front bumper of your hands :D

PM me if you are interested...

Hello and welcome, lovely cars, particularly like the rear light clusters on the 3.0

Done quite a few mods this winter. To mention just a few:

De-gingered headlights (all the way, including de-gingering the indicator bulbs):

Eibach pro kit:

Seats from a 2008 3.0si Coupe and numerous other interior bits:

Next might be a swap of the beige leather bits in the beige door panels I got with the seats to my own black door panels. Would be creating some sort of "Individual Ausstattung" effect. I know it is difficult, but not undoable. However, I also pretty much like the completely black interior with just the beige seats ...

Well I guess the modding life of ain't easy.

+1 one of the nicest pre facelift modded cars I've seen - and answers a question I had about whether the rear diffuser could be modded to accept a quad

As a minor update: this is what Z4 modditis does to one:

Original:

At least 12 visible mods with OEM BMW parts later (whereby two knobs obviously count as just one mod, same goes for the knee pads, etc.):

And it never stops: facelift AC panel is cuurrently on its way from Germany and I am still considering doing something with the doorcards / aluminium panels ...

And if anyone wonders: you can easily take apart the center vents and swap the fronts, thus having the facelift chrome bit with the pre facelift grey front (I have not yet been able to source a black facelift radio for a decent price):
