Matt’s E85 Z4 3.0 Si (PVR’s old car)

Today I have changed the rear brake light for a clear one, just like found on the M cars. I think it makes the rear look a little more up to date with the LED light. I like it. Small and nimble fingers required to change them though

Looking even better Matt with the clear brake light, and I much prefer black grilles too.

I always thought the grey slats looked a bit cheap and nasty. :(

Yep totally agree! Small changes can and do make a big difference.

And there I was thinking I needed to upgrade to an M to get the black grill and clear rear third brake light

Car looking good Matt

Look on the bright side. The M solves the problem of misted up fog-lights and reflectors on the front bumper. :D

I just replaced those fogs with new ones

Agree on the reflector though, worth every penny of the M not to have that

Thanks, I’m taking good care of the car. Just been for some Vpower at the local Shell. That’s all I’ll use 👍

Yep, only had vpower in the last two years as well. Never use anything else in any of the cars.

The more I drive this car the more I love it. That N52 3 litre engine really is fantastic. Super smooth but likes to rev too.

Comparing it to my previous Z4s, all the 2 litre car, there is no comparison. It like a different car entirely.

It's good to know you are loving it, and you're right about the N52 engines being fantastic. I loved them so much in my Coupes I've had a 330i with the same engine as my daily for almost 6 years. :D

I know! If there isn’t a buyer I’ll keep it in the garage. I’ve a Tesla already have have just ordered a new electric Mini JCW as my company car. So I’ve no ‘need’ for the Z4 at the moment. Would be a shame to let her go though.

Just drove home from work, roof down, sunshine, glorious.

I should keep it as a back up for when someone torches your Tesla. But I guess you can't sell that now that they are worth nothing and no-one wants one.

Shame you are selling so soon, but GLWTS.

Mind you it's such a stunning 3.0Si I doubt you'll need luck!

Is that one the 'Scottish car' that Paul had?

Never been a fan of the E85 (or E86) looks TBH, but that does present very well with the CSLs, red and black seats and shiny exhaust tips (THE most important part of a car IMO).

GLWTS.

And it’s now sold. But, to a forum member which is fantastic and I know it’s going to be looked after and improved on 😎

My last photo taken last night on a final drive. It will be missed.
