Went for a long weekend in Center Parcs this weekend and While I was there saw this Cayman, parked up looking all sexy.

Made me wonder, what would mine look like with the matt stripe over the roof and bonnet... minus the porsche design bit obviously :D

Comments welcome?
 
I wouldn't bother JDM... i think your car is perfect the way it is although i have said before, i would add BMW center caps to your wheels :poke:

I think the stripes are way over the top...
 
black on black nice and subtle :thumbsup: - not sure about the stripe on other colours tho...certainly not on my own Ti silver - to in ya face :thumbsdown: .
 
Jdm, Is your car blue or black? I'm guessing black now you say it would clash. I thought it was blue. Oops! If its black I would say do it. I have a black Punisher emblem on my front wing and I think black on black looks cool.
 
Black on black looks subtle. Just not sure about stripes on a Z. I saw white stripes on a blue Coupe once and it just didn't look right to me. But at the end of the day if it looks OK to you then that's all that matters.

Its Sapphire black.. Was beginning to think you had gone a little crazy suggesting blue lol..

Only thing that concerns me is the double hump in the roof and how the stripes would work with that. Ill have to do some playing about...

What do you guys reckon to the stripe saying 'BMW' where the porsche says 'Porsche Design' ?

The jury is still out on the badges. I quite like the Cades badges and they are something differnet to the default choice of BMW badges on after market wheels... I like to be a little bit differnet from the crowd. :thumbsup:
 
I believe that mat black stripe is stock on some limited version cayman, as i have seen a few black caymans with the same stripes..... probably only came in black too.

Personally i dont think it would go very well on the roof with the ridge.. however I think there is an imola red M on here which has a white stripe on it.. and it looks pretty cool.

Not sure I like the stripes on the Porsche tbh, the only ones I have ever realy liked is the Gulf colour scheme
