Anyone considered getting one or experienced one?

Seem like such bargains!
Yes i know it'll almost certainly breakdown but its surely a slice of italian supercarishh engineering and a taste of the ferrari experience (running costs etc)
Just something different thats all....or would you go sensible and spend similar money on an M3?

I work on them everyday :|
They look good in the right colour/trim wheel combo & as you said it is an Italian supercar /sportscar.

Yes they have their foibles & known issues but then that could be levelled at any car, at any price.
The engine & drivetrain itself is actually very robust/reliable.

Yes they can be picked up cheaply nowadays but running costs are still that of a £80k car

I work at the Ferrari/Maserati dealership in Swindon.
Yes, £25k should give you plenty of choice & you'll be able to bag a good'un for that.
Obviously if a car spends most of it's time in stop/start traffic, London for example then yes clutch wear is high but a well looked after one which has been driven 'properly' will have a perfectly reasonable clutch life.
I'd suggest driving several & you'll soon work out what a 'nice' example looks & more importantly drives like
