What something like T-cut :?pvr said:Not if you use a polishing compound ...
Think you could be on the something there 10jeeper with the back to black this could of happen when the dealer was getting the car ready.cj10jeeper said:pleeeease don't touch the car with T cut. That belongs back in the dark ages of flat paint, not clearcoats.
The only time I've seen something like this was when my wife decided to put back to black on the trim of her car and the overspray and finger prints burnt in over the coarse of a week or so. Amazing how destructive it was.
Porter cable and some swirl remover is the way I'd go, but frankly it's one of thoise things that I'd really want to see in person to know how the paint is affected - is it on the surface, burnt in, how deep is the damage, etc.
I've been using T-Cut on clear coat for years! T-Cut has moved on you know!! They do one especially for metallics. :wink:cj10jeeper said:pleeeease don't touch the car with T cut. That belongs back in the dark ages of flat paint, not clear coats.
