Marks on pitted black plastic - how do you clean these?

I'm not the biggest fan of the pitted black plastic on my Z4M - every time you scuff it, you get these white marks that are near impossible (or so it would seem) to clean them off. This annoys me so much that I'm thinking of trading up.. its a shame considering how good the rest of the interior is! Anyway, these marks look like those below:

Whats the best product to clean these off with?

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

Those things just seem to break up and leave the course-grained plastic with lots of little bits of 'magic eraser' in it.

I'd get a fairly stiff bristled but soft ended brush (the autoglym wheel brush say) in diulte interior shampoo, rub it around over the marks, then wipe back with a clean micro fibre cloth, again, in circular multiple directions to get into the little gaps etc.

Just a sponge and a bit of BMW plastic preservation cleaner.

Don't ever use a cloth or you'll spend the next 3 months picking bit of lint from the surface.

Microfibre will be fine, many many factors less lint left behind (ie, as good as none) vs a normal rag.

The finish on day one is a slightly glossy look, but by day 3 it has dulled to a clean matt. It's not at all sticky and I like the look.

I think the first day's glossiness is really a reaction to it actually looking clean for the first time in ages. You'd be amazed at how much of that OEM Matt look is actually dust and grime that has worked its way into the pattern. Look at your sponge when you've finished and you'll see what I mean. I guess it's one of the pitfalls of having a roadster - all of that road dust deposited on your interior.

Oh and remember, spray onto the sponge and not onto the surface and then the only little horrid white patches you'll be left with will be white tan lines behind your sunglasses

If I get a chance I'll take a picture to let you see the results of the spray.
