Well my FD has taken my Alpina from me, 09 plate 118K mies, to give it a well deserved retirement and I now have its replacement, an Audi A5 SB S Line in moonstone blue, lush :D

Anyway, used it last night and went in the glovebox for something and no light came on, there's a hole there but no light? :?

Got the handbook out and there's an asterix next to " glovebox light and lockable" :?

So emailed the supplying dealer, and guess what...........I don't have the " interior lighting package" apparently :rofl:

Glovebox light to you and me, it has B&O sound package but they couldn't be arsed to pay for a glovebox light :headbang: :D
 
The so called "options" on new cars have gone beyond a joke.

There was a good post by someone on babybmw who went to order a 120d company car. It went along the lines of him sitting down with the dealer to configure the car and the dealer asking him if he'd like extras like wheels, a steering wheel, a handle on every door etc.

only a slight exaggeration these days.
 
I couldn't pair my iPhone, pressed the "Tel" button followed the instructions, guess what, no Bluetooth :o

Getting it retrofitted today, no frigging Bluetooth, all our company vans have it fitted as STD but not Audi, B&O but no BT :rofl:

I prefer the old but understand your need for new.

Love the Audi but it does look like you bought an estate and had an elephant sit on the back, but I guess that's the style now
 
:lol: i loved the old too, but too many miles and i couldnt have another RWD, they lost 11 days work between us when the snow came down, i had to hire a Vauxhall Astra :oops:

and its not estate it's Avant or Touring in BMW talk :D

Excellent - although it's our turn to drive next time!! On Sunday, why don't you pop round at 10am (is that too early?) for a quick coffee before we head off?
