Well actually it's not by the way....but think what you will.give them a call, they are a very big Market research firm. Call them....I am not endorsing them, they just emailed my work email today. I did Market reach for them when I owned my Range Rover, for a tyre company, two years ago.....

It's always the type of thing I think sounds great at the time, and then when it comes round to it, I can't be arsed!!

Looks like you leave your car, keys and documents with them for 2 hours then when you go back they give you £150 for your trouble...

How is it a scam ?

What can they "steal" from you ?

They arent asking for bank details & PIN numbers....

unless it is like "Gone in 60 seconds" where they have a list ..........

David

Also you don't have to turn up with your car, just proof you own such a car, you do your research and that's it.

My friends son did one with the same company for research/survey with x box gaming etc. He's only 14 but got paid £35....

I was invited to a 'similar sounding' (though it's not a personal endorsement) event.

It was fine, turned out to be Dunlop or Pirelli (but they would not confirm which). All about how they advertise, what message you pick up from 'pilot' ads they show you - e.g. road safety in the wet etc etc . You are their target audience.

easy money, but go on foot with a mate from the SAS. (or two mates from the WRNs  )

I know I bought mine from new, but there are not that many that have as far as I know?

yep i agree - especially as they dont even own the domain researchfirst.co.uk

It seems they have owned it since 2002:

If they are only interested if you bought the car new why ask if tou bought it new? Surely they would put it in the qualifying criteria?

The terms have changed slightly and they will now accept nearly new for the survey, and they have a few places left. If you opt for the Saturday 1st October, there is a chance of a group session for another half hour and that will make the total £225 for about 3 hours.

It's at Shepperton Studios if anyone fancies it....
