March 2008 Photo Competition Voting Open

I can't believe no one voted for Rick's photo! I thought it was absolutely hilarious....but kinda cool at the same time. Nice pic, Rick!

Thanks for your vote of confidence! I really ran with a pair of scissors with that one. I wanted to illustrate the start of a new season (i.e. Spring), and what better to represent Spring than a blossoming Tulip. Of course, I had my Emma sitting on the stigma as centre stage. It's a symbol for all you Roadies opening up your garages and finally taking your Zeds out since it's nicer out now.

Anyway, I thought the big boss wanted a Spring picture for March... not very many delivered. I hope we can see more Spring pics for April?

I honestly thought Scotia to win. I wasn't expecting to be the winner, I just didn't expect a pixilated and immproperly resized picture to. No offense Romer, picture is good, but your ISO was too high and you needed to reduce the noise in photoshop and resize it in a different method then you did. I've been disppointed in the results of this contest in the past, and even though the URL changed, the competition didn't. You guys are right, it is a car forum.... people with cars are voting, not with photography skills.

The winning pic is pretty nice, the colours in the background are excellent and the car looks amazing (nice wheels) - congratulations on winning Romer it was the best pic in my view (forgot to vote though - doh!)...
