Don't be such a sore loser

If you take a look at the comps over previous months you will see plenty of top 3's that are not top spec M's... there's even a mini in there! If you want constructive critique as to why people didn't vote for you then by all means ask for it, but don't assume peoples motives for voting.

Personally I think Rom3n's is a fantastic shot, and a more than worthy winner!

I had a hard choice between 4 this month.
I liked the composition and lighting of Rom3n's the best but I didn't vote for it because it is pretty noisey in the dark area's (just nitpicking) :roll:
I also loved paperboy's! I can't believe he only got 2 votes!
BlackSaphire's was excellent but I didn't vote for that one either since it was done by a pro (I'm sure that's not the only one!) :?
I voted for Scotia's! It's fantastic!

Well...it as a car Forum...it is about the cars isn't it? If you want a photography award, maybe you should try to win one on a photography forum.

Oh...I think scotia steve probably would have gotten the best photography award

Thanks for the votes guys. I got lucky with that pic it was one of several I was snapping away at and found it in the mix and went I also got luck with the sun it was just right for about 5 min.

Camera was a Canon Rebel XTI with a ef 28-135 lens

These were the first pics I had ever taken with it. I was looking to just see how good the camera was compared to my old point and shoot. I know 0 about photography so the pics I take are very amature compared to some of the very skilled guys I see here. I like photos that represent a car and give it a personality VS perfect backgrounds and color saturation etc... thats why I liked this photo. Z4dsun has the best looking photo I think in terms of quality so I guess its just what you are looking for in the photo.

I honestly thought Scotia to win. I wasn't expecting to be the winner, I just didn't expect a pixilated and immproperly resized picture to. No offense Romer, picture is good, but your ISO was too high and you needed to reduce the noise in photoshop and resize it in a different method then you did. I've been disppointed in the results of this contest in the past, and even though the URL changed, the competition didn't. You guys are right, it is a car forum.... people with cars are voting, not with photography skills.

I can't believe no one voted for Rick's photo! I thought it was absolutely hilarious....but kinda cool at the same time. Nice pic, Rick!

z4dsun, in response to what you said: I voted for Scotia Steve also. Your criticism of Rom3n's photo may be valid, but you can also see it as his photo being so nice (I thought it was pretty damned nice too -- those side skirts especially help make the car reflect light) that it still won. If his photo had been "fixed" with expert photoshopping, perhaps he would've just ran away with it instead of having Scotia Steve a close second.

Scotia Steve, awesome pic, man. Easy choice for me. Loved it.

I have noticed that as well and was impressed that individuals were voting for the picture they liked best even if it was not their picture...
